Kostas Smoriginas is one of the most promising bass-baritones of today. After studying music in Lithuania he moved to London in 2005 and spent two years at the Royal College of Music. He joined the Jette Parker young artist programme at the Royal Opera House in 2007.
He made his debut as Escamillo in Carmen at the Deutsche Staatsoper, Berlin.
