  • Anna Netrebko made a special guest appearance at the Musikverein Wien last week as part of the second annual “All for Autism” benefit concert. Intended to raise awareness of autism, which affects 80,000 Austrians — 20,000 of whom are based in Vienna, the gala event also raised funds to give access for early diagnosis and treatment for children and improving autism therapies to greater aid independent living.

    With the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra and conductor Guido Mancusi, Anna joined a lineup that also included Yusif Eyvazov, Annely Peebo, Lidia Baich, Bel Suono, Jan Liefers, Dima Bilan, and Josef Hofbauer. The event was organized by Irina Gulyaeva.
