  • Huge success at the Chopard Charity Gala at Geneva's Victoria Hall. On Sunday, January 20, Anna Netrebko and Erwin Schrott joined forces with legendary tenor José Carreras at the Victoria Hall in Geneva, Switzerland, for a benefit concert organized and sponsored by Maison Chopard to support the charity foundations created by these artists: the José Carreras International Foundation for the Fight against Leukemia and the Anna & Erwin For Kinds Foundation. Anna Netrebko, José Carreras and Erwin Schrott, together with the Gstaad Festival Orchestra under the baton of Maestro David Giménez, performed a program of opera arias, duets, musical numbers, zarzuela, and Neapolitan and tango songs. The concert marked the first time Anna has performed alongside the legendary Spanish tenor.
