Mezzo-soprano Kate Lindsey is one of the most promising voices of her generation and appears regularly in the world’s most prestigious opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Vienna State Opera, the Salzburg Festival, Glyndebourne Opera Festival, in Aix-en-Provence, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, and the Bavarian State Opera.

    Kate is currently starring as Nicklausse in Les contes d’Hoffman at the Metropolitan Opera, New York alongside Vittorio Grigolo as the title role, with Thomas Hampson singing the Four Villains, and Yves Abel conducting.  The production will also be part of the MET’s live in HD Broadcast series

    Kate's recording debut with Deutsche Grammophon, “Follow, Poet”, will be released on January 27.  She performs new works by the prolific modern composer, Mohammed Fairouz, with Evan Rogister leading the Ensemble LPR.
