  • On June 18, Ms. Matshikiza is a featured soloist in a concert celebration to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Tekfen Philharmonic Orchestra, during the 45th Istanbul Music Festival at the Lütfi Kırdar Convention & Exhibition Centre. Under the baton of Maestro Aziz Shokhakimov, Ms. Matshikiza is joined by tenor İlker Arcayürek in a program of popular duets and arias from L'Elisir d'Amore, La Bohéme, La Traviata, Turandot, Les Pêcheurs de Perles, and more. Ms. Matshikiza's exceptional performances have garnered her immense critical acclaim, hailing her as "the new Maria Callas" (The Spectator).
