Swiss soprano Regula Mühlemann was raised in Lucerne where she studied at the Conservatory of Lucerne with Prof. Barbara Locher. She records exclusively for Sony Classical. Her debut recording “Mozart Arias” was released in October 2016, her second album “Cleopatra” in September 2017.

  • 18.06.2018 - Regula Mühlemann: Die Zauberflöte in Baden-Baden

  • On July 8, 11 and 14, Regula Mühlemann sings Papagena alongside Rolando Villazón's Papageno in Die Zauberflöte at the Baden-Baden Festival. The rest of the cast features Franz-Josef Selig as Sarastro, Christiane Karg as Pamina, Klaus Florian Vogt as Tamino and Albina Shagimuratova as the Queen of the Night. Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts.

    Later in the month, on July 25, she sings a Liederabend at the Menuhin Festival with clarinetist Andreas Ottensamer and pianist José Gallardo. On August 4, she gives a concert with La Folia Barockorchester featuring arias from her latest album, Cleopatra. Finally, she sings a recital in Ermatingen on August 28.
