Soprano Sondra Radvanovsky is a globally celebrated artist. The depth and exquisite color of her voice are matched by her dramatic acting ability and versatility across a remarkable range of repertoire, from the title roles in Rusalka and Lucrezia Borgia, to Roxanne in Cyrano de Bergerac and the title role in Manon Lescaut.   • Sondra Radvanovsky will star in the title role of Bellini’s ‘Norma’ in the prestigious opening night gala of the Metropolitan Opera on September 25.  A role for which Ms. Radvanovsky’s previous performances have been characterized as “spellbinding,” this is sure to be an exciting evening. She is joined by an all-star cast which includes Joyce DiDonato as Adalgisa, and Joseph Calleja as Pollione. The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra is led by Maestro Carlo Rizzo.
