Soprano Sondra Radvanovsky is a globally celebrated artist. The depth and exquisite color of her voice are matched by her dramatic acting ability and versatility across a remarkable range of repertoire, from the title roles in Rusalka and Lucrezia Borgia, to Roxanne in Cyrano de Bergerac and the title role in Manon Lescaut. She is widely regarded as one of the premiere Verdi sopranos alive today, as well as one of the premiere interpreters of bel canto.

  • Ms. Radvanovsky joins Opera Philadelphia as their 'Inaugural Festival Artist' in recital for one night only on September 17 at the Perelman Theater. She is joined my collaborative pianist Anthony Manoli in an exciting program which is yet to be revealed. Opera Philadelphia's ground breaking operatic experience consists of seven operatic "happenings" staged over 12 days in 6 venues across the city.

    Following Ms. Radvanovsky's recital on September 18 she will lead a Masterclass for Opera Philadelphia's Emerging Artists at the Perelman Theater. This special experience will allow audience members an up-close and personal look at Ms. Radvanovsky's musical process as she shared her wisdom and experience with the next generation's stars.
